Lisbon Azulejos Workshop
Make the most of your stay in Lisbon by creating your own Portuguese geometric patterns.

A unique creative experience in the heart of Lisbon
Discover geometric drawing by joining a creative workshop in the center of the Portuguese capital.
A timeless moment during your trip to Lisbon, where you create, share, and leave with an object that truly reflects you.
What to expect
I’ll welcome you with the warm, authentic atmosphere of my studio, which can host up to 10–12 people. After a brief introduction to Formettes, you’ll be free to let your imagination flow, with plenty of hand-painted designs available to spark your inspiration.
You’ll learn how to draw geometric shapes inspired by Portuguese azulejos — the famous ceramic tiles that decorate the façades of Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods — or Moroccan floral motifs. Step by step, you’ll sketch your composition before painting, coloring, and decorating it however you like.
Throughout the workshop, I’ll be by your side to guide you, sharing both my expertise as a painter and my knowledge of Portuguese azulejos. I’ll also be happy to recommend some great spots for wandering through Lisbon’s historic center, where you can admire these iconic hand-painted ceramic tiles in their original setting.

Our azulejo workshops in the heart of Lisbon are open to everyone: children from 10 years old, curious adults, drawing enthusiasts, or lovers of handmade décor.
